It is very easy to forget to water your plants regularly, particularly if you are at work or on holiday etc. High mid-day temperatures and even strong winds will soon dry out the soil. Plants in containers are the most susceptible, but so are shallow-rooted shrubs such as conifers, hydrangeas and camellias.

Regular and correct feeding is essential if you want your plants to grow well and to produce the display you desire. During the summer it is easy to forget to feed your plants regularly. Greenacres have a range of “feed and forget” fertilisers that from one application will last the whole growing season. None of our fertilisers burn, scorch or leach through the soil. If applied to heavily mulched soil (including bark chippings) they will dissipate through to the soil with rainfall or irrigation. There is no need to hoe-in.

If you want a pest free garden but don’t like using chemicals then biological control is for you. Our range uses microscopic nematodes that are watered onto the soil - and that’s all you have to do.
