Gardens

Chafer grubs feed on grass roots from July until late autumn and can live up to three years, when they burrow into the ground to pupate. The adults emerge in May/early June, mate and lay eggs. Unfortunately these are often laid in the same place re-infesting the same lawn each year. The symptoms of attack are grass slows and yellow patches appear; the grass is easily pulled up with little or no root growth; birds and even foxes and badgers pull up the grass to get to the grubs; if you peel back the turf the grubs will be visible. Apply Nemasys Chafer Grub Killer from mid-July until the end of August.
